The Posies at Jazzbones

The PosiesI’ve never been to Jazzbones. It’s not a bad venue, it’s just that the usual events typically feature generic acts that I’ve no interest in. The opening acts for the show were abyssmally mismatched. While the first act Weather wasn’t altogether terrible, it was actually physically painful for me to sit through the second group, Dedset. Seriously, it hurt.

I’ve never seen The Posies. They’re a band I’ve been following since the early 90s, but I’ve just never had the opportunity to catch them live. The played a great set of songs from their catalog and sounded great. I’ve put up some photos from the show.

  4. Your misuse of punctuation indicates you must really mean what you say. Stay in school. They’ll teach you to spell and when devices like exclamation and question marks are actually appropriate. I stand by my assessment.

  5. It takes a certain lack of class to pick at a child’s comments supporting her father. You, Sparkrobot, have that lack of class. I have 20 bucks that says she is ten times smarter than any child that could come from you, at any age.

  7. Could you please use the word “seriously” a little less often on this site. Stay in school. They will teach you that overuse of a particular word makes you seem uneducated. Try some new words. Maybe check a thesaurus.
Thank you in advance, because in order for me to take you “seriously” I’m going to need a broader vocabulary from you.

  8. T-Bone, I don’t know you, just as you don’t know me. However you’re boring me already by resurrecting a topic which has long since passed. If you don’t like my site, wait for it… wait… wait… seriously, don’t read it.
