Last weekend we hit the Humane Society’s Dog-A-Thon down at Forst Steilacoom park. My wife put herself (and her dog) on the task and helped to raise $500 toward the no kill shelter in Pierce County. I think overall, the event raised $151,000, up $30K from last year. This was a pretty good opportunity to shoot some photos, and that I did. There are a bunch of dog-a-thon photos up on my Flickr site.

Those are some great photos and, although I’m more of a cat person myself, it’s great to see so much being raised for any no-kill shelter. Bravo!
P.S. – Did you get my email I sent your way yesterday? If not, can you shoot me a message with your email address so I can try again? Thanks!

The shelter has a goal of becoming a “no-kill†organization by December 2008, and that’s super good news for cats too. Cats are great, we’ve got one cat too.
